Build Process

Kingsley Defender build process

It generally takes between 1500 and 3000 hours to build an Kingsley Defender, depending on the precise specification chosen.

We usually have over 150 Land Rover models on site at any time as prospective donor vehicles, waiting to be re-engineered and recycled into your vision of the definitive Defender. As with all hand-built cars, every build is slightly different, but below is an example of a typical customer journey to ending up with their definitive Defender:

We have built many cars for clients all over the world and are happy to share our knowledge on what works well for various customer applications.
