Defender 110 Options
The LWB defender - the 110" wheelbase model in either utility or station wagon form, presents the ultimate family go anywhere transport. In addition to more interior space, the 110 provides an unmatched compromise of comfort, interior room and legendary on and off-road driving dynamics. With options to securely seat 5 or 7 in comfort, this model is capable of anything from off-piste adventures far from home, to stylishly performing daily urban domestic duties with modern levels of reliability and performance. All Kingsley Defenders are specifically engineered to produce Range Rover levels of comfort in the iconic classic Defender body style.
Body Style
The D110 is available in Hard Top, Soft Top Pick-Up and Double Cab body styles and can feature numerous external styling enhancements, tailored to your precise requirements. Some derivatives enable switching between hard and soft top options for comfort and compatibility with all seasons, especially with integration of our modern HVAC systems which actually work, compared to the modest efforts of the original D110.
Engine options
We offer a range of engine options from rebuilt standard units, both petrol and diesel, to enhanced derivatives with modern upgrades for improved performance and economy. Our real speciality however is fitting hand-built Rover and modern Chevrolet V8's which offer levels of performance and reliability, of a different magnitude to that associated with traditional engines found in Defenders when they were new.
Running gear
Kingsley have developed a range of suspension packages for the Defender with revised dampers and custom springs which improve handling and dynamic performance. To harness the power of the new or rebuilt power units, we have also developed a range of heavy duty driveshafts and performance differentials offering different levels of strength and reliability. Our Defender big brake kit stops the most powerful engine options and are engineered to fit behind all Defender wheel options.
Interior
Whether you want a complete refurbishment of the original trim or the entire interior trimmed in high quality Nappa leather, with Alcantara options, Kingsley can provide an environment inside your Defender bespoke to your requirements. Air Conditioning, modern infotainment systems and panoramic roof conversions are just a handful of options offered to create a modern luxurious interior within the classic dimensions of the rugged D110 exterior styling.
